Foam Cleaning
What is the Traditional Fin Fan Cleaning Method?
High-Cost Rate; Low Return
The conventional method of externally cleaning heat exchanger coils with high pressure water is one of the most effective ways to decrease efficiency of your air-cooled heat exchangers. High pressure water can flatten and mash together the fragile cooling fins and tends to compact the dirt and debris toward the center of the heat exchanger. Over time, these conditions contribute to the breakdown of the cooling process and, as a result, reduce production capacity.
What is the Foam Chemical Cleaning Method?
Low-Cost Rate; High Return
The chemical foam cleaning method is engineered to surround and contact 100% of the surface area of the finned tube in a gentle bath while providing the most powerful cleaning solution available. The foam’s soaking action goes to work, breaking the bond between the fins and the air-flow restricting dirt and debris. Low water pressure is then used to rinse away the foam residue, removing the dirt and debris without damaging the fins. This environmentally safe residue can be washed into your water drains and to your water treatment plant.
